Job summary

Michaels Stores is hiring for a store team member at our Los Angeles South Gate store in CA. You will assist customers, help them locate products, and provide solutions, while handling checkout duties professionally. The role involves stocking, merchandising, and participation in omni‑channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

A friendly, respectful attitude and reliability are essential. Retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain in-stock conditions and complete merchandise recovery
