Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking an Overnight Stocker to keep shelves full, organized, and ready for customers each morning. You will unload trucks, rotate products, and tag shelves while maintaining backroom order and safety standards.

This role offers hands-on training, requires endurance for overnight shifts, and emphasizes teamwork and accurate stock management. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference for up to six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence.
• Use basic math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
• Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in a friendly, helpful way.
• Stay organized and keep up with the pace of a busy overnight shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; up to six months of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them find what they need.
• Assist customers with locating products and handling feedback.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Monitor mis-picks, outs, and wrong deliveries; report issues.
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves and report new items for system input.
• Work with teammates for a smooth overnight operation.
• Maintain Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards and policies.
