Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for the Nights shift to support hospital operations across our network in Arlington Heights, IL. The role runs 11:00pm–7:30am with rotating weekends and holidays and a 5K sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Requires GED/High School equivalence; CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification is strongly preferred. About two years of sterile processing or OR experience is desirable for the position.

Qualifications

• GED/High School diploma required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup to ensure quality products for patient care.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate distribution areas with accurate labeling by department.
