Antech Diagnostics is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor in Chantilly, VA. The role involves receiving, preparing, and processing samples for diverse tests in a fast-paced lab environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent with science coursework; 0-1 years preferred. Strong attention to detail and data-entry skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with science related classes.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analyses.
• Accurately process standard requisitions per approved procedures at expected rates.
• Enter patient data, label samples and aliquot as needed for multiple testing.
• Keep inventory of samples after testing and scan into storage racks.
• Sort samples for distribution throughout the lab.
• Ensure Turn Around Times (TAT’s) are met.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a clean, organized work area; restock supplies.
