Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Specimen Processor for a night shift role in Chantilly, VA. The position offers a target pay of $21.15 per hour with responsibilities including receiving, preparing, and processing lab samples and entering data into the system.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma with science classes and 0–1 years of related experience. The role requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a lab environment with PPE and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with science related classes.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analyses.
• Accurately process standard requisitions per approved procedures at expected rates.
• Enter patient data, label samples and aliquot as needed for multiple testing.
• Scan tubes into storage racks and enter specimen data into database.
• Ensure Turn Around Times (TATs) are met.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a clean, organized work area.
