Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; must be bilingual.
• Completion of Propio testing required prior to hire.
• Ability to interpret medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Interprets English to Spanish and Spanish to English to facilitate patient care and education.
• Collaborates with department director to ensure excellent customer service and meet patient needs.
• Gathers medical history and demographic information from non-English-speaking patients and/or family members.
• Provides information to non-English-speaking patients and families regarding parking, accommodations, cafeteria services, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
