Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Missouri is seeking a Night Shift Slitter Operator to operate and maintain the Deacro Slitter, delivering high-quality rolls with minimal scrap. You will report to the Lamination Continuous Improvement Engineer and work as part of a manufacturing team in a climate-controlled plant.

The role requires standing for long hours, following SOC guidelines, and actively participating in shift handoffs while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma. Continued education in plastics is preferred.
• Slitting machine experience preferred.
• Tolerate standing, pushing, and pulling during 12 hours on a concrete floor.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Deacro Slitter to deliver quality products with minimal scrap.
• Set up and operate the slitter and supporting equipment as scheduled by management promptly.
• Perform scheduled PM machine maintenance and troubleshoot, report major problems to maintenance.
• Record quality data and ensure accurate documentation in the plant database.
• Maintain good housekeeping and a 5S work area; assist in training and cross-training.

Education

High school diploma
