Job summary

Sealed Air in St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking a Slitter Operator for the night shift. The role involves operating and maintaining the Deacro Slitter, meeting quality standards and minimizing scrap, with a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM rotating schedule and a $20.00 per hour pay plus a $1.00 shift premium.

This position reports to the Lamination Continuous Improvement Engineer and offers comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include routine setup, maintenance, data entry, and collaboration with Quality,

Qualifications

• High school diploma; plastics education is preferred.
• Slitting machine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Deacro Slitter to meet quality and scrap goals.
• Set up and operate the slitter and related equipment per SOC schedule.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and troubleshoot as needed.
• Record quality data and report non-conformances.
• Cross-train as backup laminator operator and assist changeovers.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards.
