Job summary

Mativ, a global leader in specialty materials, is seeking a Slitter Operator to support the Sustainable & Adhesive Solutions function. You will set up and operate slitters to convert jumbo rolls into smaller rolls, monitor web quality, and ensure accurate packing per packaging requirements.

Working in a 12-hour shift from 6pm to 6am, you will collaborate with a team, perform safety checks, document production, and participate in continuous improvement while upholding ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a team within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate initiative to learn and accept additional responsibility.
• Acceptable attendance record.
• Ability to foster creative change in an established team environment.
• Computer aptitude.
• Ability to use and understand basic math.
• Fluency in English both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitters to convert jumbo rolls into smaller rolls.
• Inspect the web during slitting and ensure product quality.
• Booking and packing of finished product per standards.
• Provide guidance to team and support changeovers and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping as required.
• Adhere to ISO procedures and safety requirements.
