Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a reliable Slitter Operator to set up and run both manual and automatic slitter lines and related packing processes. You will follow safety rules, keep production records, troubleshoot equipment, and support continuous improvement projects.

Ideal candidates have strong manual dexterity, basic math, and the ability to read gauges and meters. Data entry on SAP and S4 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work safely.
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules and basic math.
• Ability to read gauges and meters.
• Experience with SAP and data-entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter according to procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance.
• Read tags to ensure correct materials are retrieved/used.
• Record output results and/or into computer; participate in continuous improvement.
