Job summary

Shurtape Technologies, LLC is seeking a Slitter Operator to set up and run manual and automatic slitters, ensuring quality while maintaining production records. The role requires reading gauges, performing measurements, and data entry into SAP.

You will contribute to continuous improvement and safety programs on the shop floor. This position offers hands-on manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work independently.
• Excellent manual dexterity and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of production schedules, basic math, data entry, and computer skills.
• Ability to read measurements, gauges, and meters.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate slitter per established procedures.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot finishing equipment and document inspections.
• Instruct trainees and record-keeping.
• Read gauges/meters and record results.
• Enter data into SAP and support continuous improvement teams.
• Follow safety rules in the facility.
