Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and completion of A-Step Program Certification.
• Board certification from BRPT or ABSM is required for licensure.
• CRPSGTs must pass board exam within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Gathers materials and sets up all necessary equipment for polysomnography tests.
• Explains procedures to patients and assists with PAP therapy instruction.
• Calibrates equipment and monitors patients during testing.
• Scores polygraphic records and prepares findings for physician review.
• May assist in training new polysomnography personnel and scheduling.
