Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Sleep Technician to perform polysomnography studies and assist with data interpretation under the supervision of the Sleep Center Clinical Director.

You will conduct overnight sleep studies, calibrate equipment, titrate CPAP/BIPAP, administer oxygen as needed, and ensure high-quality recordings while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Requires high school diploma, one year of sleep lab experience, and registry eligibility or certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• Registration or registry eligible preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a sleep lab.
• Knowledge of polysomnographic instrumentation and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Perform night polysomnography studies and oximetry.
• Titrate CPAP/BIPAP pressures and administer oxygen as needed.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot PSG equipment to obtain high-quality recordings.
• Recognize artifacts and ensure patient safety during testing.
• Prepare preliminary study reports for interpretation by physicians.
• Participate in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
