Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Night shift Sleep Tech for a 13-week contract in New Haven, CT. The role requires setup, calibration, and monitoring of sleep studies, including EEG electrodes, CPAP titration, and data interpretation under physician direction.

The candidate should have at least 1 year in polysomnography, with BLS and RPSGT/RST certifications preferred. Independent lab experience and infection control practices are prioritized.

Qualifications

• Experience with polysomnography testing and sleep tech procedures.
• Familiarity with PSG scoring and CPAP titration.
• Infection control practices in a clinical sleep lab.
• Patient education and safety during sleep studies.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment and computer interfaces.
• Place EEG electrodes and secure transducers for airflow, O2, capnography.
• Monitor patients and record events during sleep studies.
• Notify supervisor of urgent issues and assist physician as directed.
