A leading construction safety firm is seeking a Construction Safety Manager based in New York City. The ideal candidate will possess a NYC DOB Site Safety Managers License and at least 10 years of construction safety management experience. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining safety documentation. Qualifications
Must possess NYC DOB Site Safety Managers License.
Completion of 30-Hour OSHA course is required.
40-Hour Site Safety Course Certificate is necessary.
62-Hour Supervisor SST Card is mandatory.
Responsibilities
Perform daily site safety inspections and audits.
Conduct safety orientations for workers.
Compile reports per company policies.
Ensure compliance with NYC safety regulations.
Investigate accidents and complete required paperwork.
Liaise with OSHA and other agencies.
Develop safety presentations.
Ensure preplanning of all construction activities.
Coach workers on hazard identification.
Maintain safety documentation.
Skills
Proficient communication skills in English
Practical knowledge of OSHA-CFR 1926
Working knowledge of OSHA & other regulatory agency laws
Accident investigation experience
Knowledgeable of various construction trades
Proficient computer skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings
