Job summary

Structure Tone, part of the STO Building Group, seeks a Night Site Safety Manager in New York City, NY. This role leads safety programs, enforces OSHA rules, and manages safety staff while coordinating with leadership to maintain a high standard of site safety.

The position requires a degree in construction-related fields, 10–20 years of construction experience, and OSHA 30 hours. Salary ranges from $110,000 to $180,000 with comprehensive benefits and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10–20 years of general construction experience.
• OSHA 30 hour training is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Monitor effectiveness of the safety management system and track progress against safety standards.
• Lead and provide functional management for safety personnel.
• Train site managers and employees in work site safety practices, fire prevention and chemical handling.
• Inspect facilities to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Ensure prompt reporting of accidents and incidents and participate in investigations as needed.
• Produce safety management reports monthly, quarterly and annually.
