Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Dalton, GA is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to support daily logistics for a company building Zero Energy Homes. You will coordinate shipping, inventory and transportation, and work night shift 8:00 PM–8:00 AM, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate records.

The role requires at least 1 year in a similar coordinator position, familiarity with ERP and shipping platforms, and proficient MS Office skills.

Qualifications

1+ year of general affairs or facility coordinator experience.
Oversee forklift operator activities and safety compliance.
Familiar with ERP, inventory/shipping platforms.
Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
Post-secondary education preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily logistics operations including transportation, inventory, and shipping for incoming and outgoing materials.
Manage and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Work with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to streamline supply chain processes.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, identifying shortages or delays, and take proactive steps to resolve them.
Prepare shipping documents, reports, and records per standards.
Resolve logistical challenges quickly and inform stakeholders.
