Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Riverside, CA is hiring a 2nd Shipper I to handle shipping, receiving, and stocking finished goods for customer orders. You will obtain forklift and reach truck certification at hire and work 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. with a $0.75 shift differential.

You will complete shipments using ERP or tablet, prepare packing lists and bills of lading, maintain a clean workspace, and perform other duties as assigned. A High School diploma and 1 year of warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift and reach truck.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and safe work practices.
• Strong reading, basic math, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments using ERP system and/or tablet.
• Pull, package, and palletize products for shipment.
• Maintain packaging, labeling, and bills of lading.
• Receive, stock, and rotate product; locate finished inventory.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
