Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency seeks a Youth Site Specialist for the HOME Youth Services shelters. The role directly supervises at-risk youth, helps them access basic needs, and connects them with community resources to support independence and safety.

The position emphasizes mentorship, crisis de-escalation, and collaboration with Case Managers and volunteers to provide a stable, trauma-informed environment for residents, including overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Four or more years of work or volunteering experience in fast-paced public-facing service sectors.
• Preference for experience with high-risk youth or youth programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise at-risk youth and provide guidance.
• Assist with basic shelter services and transportation to school/appointments.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment in HOME Youth Services shelters.
• Coordinate with Case Managers and volunteers to ensure smooth operations.
