Job summary

MICA Steelworks in Euless, Texas is seeking a Welder to join our shop team. The Welder will fit, join, fabricate, and repair metal parts, following product specifications and schedules.

You will work with the Welding Lead, Shift Supervisor, and senior management to ensure welds meet requirements and UT pass criteria. Typical duties include reading blueprints, using torches and air arc equipment, and maintaining high production levels while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in welding techniques and soldering methods.
• Ability to read weld symbols, diagrams and blueprints.
• Commitment to producing quality welds and maintaining safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using wire welder as per layouts and drawings.
• Weld steel components per engineering specifications and orders.
• Weld in multiple directions (flat, horizontal) and set up fixtures.
