Job summary

Marmen Energy is seeking a Welder Assembler to support wind tower fabrication on a night shift. Base pay starts at $25.25/hour with a $2/hour night shift premium and raises with verified welding experience.

You will read blueprints, prepare joints, apply various welding processes, and ensure parts meet specifications. The role requires performing welding and assembly to strict tolerances, documenting production results, and collaborating with the quality team.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to wear a tight-fitting respirator.
• Must have the ability to acquire welding certifications.
• Read and analyze blueprint and production documents.

Responsibilities

• Read and analyze blueprint and production documents.
• Prepare work of joints and welding; select the right equipment, prepare the joints, perform the tracing and take measurements.
• Perform welding and assembly sequences in accordance with the welding processes (SAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, Plasma Arc Gouging and Air Carbon Arc Gouging)
• Respect the welding dimensions and requirements in accordance with the established specifications.
• Complete the proper production and quality documents.
• Inspect parts in collaboration with the quality department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
