Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers in Tulsa, OK is hiring 5 welders for night shifts. You will apply welding processes to join metal parts, fabricate and repair components, and support production in a safety-sensitive environment.

The role requires ability to qualify as horizontal and vertical welder, English proficiency, and a safety-conscious, team-oriented attitude. Oxy-fuel and carbon arc skills are a plus; training will occur on site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to qualify as horizontal welder.
• Must be able to qualify as vertical welder.
• Certified welder preferred.
• Certified for horizontal groove welding preferred.
• Able to perform oxy-fuel burning and carbon arcing preferred.
• Read/write/speak proficient English.
• Demonstrates teamwork and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Layout and mark weld points on parts or sub-assemblies.
• Position pieces in jigs and fixtures using measuring tools.
• Assist in completing tasks to meet deadlines.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
