Qualifications

• Read and analyze blueprints and production documents.
• Prepare joints and welding; select equipment and take measurements.
• Must be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator and acquire welding certifications.
• Must perform welding sequences per specified processes and document work.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and production documents.
• Prepare joints, select equipment, perform tracing and measurements.
• Perform welding and assembly sequences per processes (SAW, SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, Plasma Arc Gouging, etc.).
• Respect welding dimensions and requirements per specifications.
• Complete production and quality documents; inspect parts with QA.
