The Town of Cary is seeking a Water Reclamation Facility Operator for the North Cary Facility, overseeing 12-hour midnight-to-noon shifts. You will operate advanced treatment processes, monitor SCADA, perform lab tests, and maintain equipment with cross-training and a structured career ladder.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, and NC Biological Wastewater Operator Certification (or the ability to obtain within 12 months).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• NC Biological Wastewater Operator Certification (Grade I) is preferred or the ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with wastewater treatment operations is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Regular facility tours and monitoring of pumps, generators, and control systems.
• Operate SCADA and monitoring equipment for plant operations.
• Perform analytical tests and adjust processes to meet performance targets.
• Maintain records, reports, and communications with teams.
