Qualifications

• Geographical knowledge of service area and distribution system.
• Understanding gradients and piping networks, basic fluid principles.
• Knowledge of safety practices and state/federal regulations (confined spaces, trenching).
• Ability to perform taps, restraints, and repairs to ensure system integrity.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.

Responsabilités

• Independently leads employees and coordinates safe, efficient use of equipment and personnel.
• Assess resources needed for jobs; mobilize staff in emergencies per procedures.
• Locate, access, operate, and repair mains, hydrants, valves, and related facilities.
• Investigate hydraulic variations and initiate corrective actions.
• Perform distribution system tests and quality sampling as directed.
• Complete house-to-house connections and mark-out facilities per program.
• Maintain and update records of field activities and conditions.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve customer or company-related issues.
