Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Waste Technician for the 3rd shift in Shawnee, OK. The role focuses on daily collection, sorting, and safe disposal of waste and recyclables, with machine operation and safety compliance responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Shift hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 pm to 4:00 am. The ideal candidate is safety-oriented, reliable, and able to handle physically demanding tasks while maintaining accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to optimize time management and stay organized.
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety and Danfoss initiatives; protect personal and colleague safety.
• Collect, sort, and process recyclable or waste materials.
• Operate basic facility machinery and equipment safely.
• Inspect waste packages for site and regulatory compliance and safety.
• Load and unload materials from collection trucks or bins.
• Follow local and federal safety rules when handling materials.
• Keep accurate daily logs of waste volumes.
