Job summary

Danfoss in Shawnee, Oklahoma is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician provides support to Plant Operations in repairing and maintaining production equipment throughout the plant.

This is a 2nd Shift position, with work hours are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The role emphasizes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and control system diagnostics, using hand and power tools and following all safety rules.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
2 years hands-on experience in industrial maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret electronic/hydraulic drawings, schematics and blueprints.
Ability to read precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
Physically capable of prolonged standing and bending during maintenance tasks.
Strong computer skills and ability to document tasks.
Follow detailed instructions and procedures to complete tasks and reporting.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems to the faulty component under instruction.
Observe and test operation of machinery to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment.
Analyze machine error messages and information from operators to diagnose problems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and control system components.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
Follow all safety rules, including PPE and OSHA.
Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
Complete all required reporting and documentation.
