Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to manage a team, organize work to meet objectives, and ensure quality and safety in line with internal processes and customer specs. The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and continuous improvement.

The position includes coordinating schedules, communicating with the customer, and ensuring workforce and equipment scale with volume forecasts. A strong focus on safety and process adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A-level to 2 years of higher education or equivalent through experience.
• Training in transport, logistics and management.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a team leadership function.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages, and controls teamwork, defines clear rules with objectives and expectations.
• Communicates road map and final goals to inspire the team and make work rewarding.
• Sets up periodic communications/monitoring/measurement of activity and objectives.
• Encourages and supports the team with feedback (recognition, improvement).
• Ensures employees reach expected levels and provides training as required.
• Promotes process improvement and internal innovation programs.
