Ryder System, Inc. in Euclid, Ohio is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role includes supervising a team, coordinating loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counts, and leveraging RF scanning tools to manage inventory. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of warehouse processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• One year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Assist in orientation for employees and provide necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
