Ryder System, Inc. in Etna, Ohio is hiring a Full-time VAS Warehouse Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

The role requires leadership and strong communication to guide a team toward KPI improvements while promoting safety and RF scanner workflows and Microsoft Office tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse lead/ supervisor experience preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office experience preferred (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• RF scanner experience required/advanced.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive continuous improvement for efficient warehouse operations.
• Perform warehouse tasks: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
• Allocate daily work to team members to optimize shift logistics.
• Inspire team toward KPI improvements using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, receipts, bills of lading).
• Prepare and submit daily reports and suggest actions to improve operations.
