Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Team Leader in Euclid, Ohio. The role oversees warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment with state-of-the-art equipment and a safety-first culture.

Pay includes $21.74 per hour base plus a $1.00 shift premium, with overtime at $32.61 per hour and weekly pay. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• 1+ year previous team lead experience preferred.
• 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• 1+ year previous warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner knowledge/experience advanced required.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement for warehouse efficiency.
• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work to optimize shift operations.
• Inspire team members to improve KPI performance using appropriate leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools for employees to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Complete daily reports and propose actions to improve operations and service levels.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
