Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 4-8 years relevant experience.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Experience leading a team.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables).
• Experience with SAP or Manhattan ERP preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages a team of 20-30 Outbound Operations warehouse associates to achieve timely distribution and receipt of products and motivate employees to ensure productivity and quality standards.
• Monitors site productivity standards and provides timely feedback; initiates corrective action as needed.
• Adheres to budgetary guidelines while maintaining quality and inventory.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma, Kaizen, takt boards).
• Schedules the workforce daily to ensure proper staffing for pick, replenish, restock, locate and ship activities.
• Coordinates equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Engages in employee development, including training, coaching and performance appraisals.
• Maintains timekeeping, attendance and PTO records; ensures scheduling alignment.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance; conducts safety observations and addresses issues.
• Supports cross-functional collaboration and hiring for lead/associate roles.
