Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Experience supervising multiple employees in a warehouse setting is a plus.
• Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of inventory adjustments (cycles, physicals, catch weight audits).
• Assist with Inventory Control and maintain inventory accuracy; manage storage areas.
• Maintain computerized records of inventory and perform cycle counts; investigate variances.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics; determine staffing needs.
• Schedule staff according to workload; assign workers to specific duties.
• Review and update operational procedures; ensure communication to warehouse staff.
• Track productivity and evaluate performance by individual and department.
• Manage payroll for the department; advise on handling, storage, and shipping of items.
• Trace item history to resolve discrepancies; propose remedial actions.
• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow; issue instructions.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain harmony; resolve grievances.
