Job summary

Sysco in Danville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while ensuring safety and stock security. You will plan layouts, manage specialized stock, and drive productivity with our automated storage and retrieval systems.

Responsibilities include PO processing, on‑time putaway and pick, inventory control, returns, staff training and supervision, and coordination with customer service to resolve shipping issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 2–5 years of warehouse management or supply chain experience.
• Proficiency with warehouse management platforms and inventory systems.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily processing of Purchase Orders to ensure flow through systems correctly.
• Ensure goods are warehoused and dispatched to the picking line within the prescribed time frames.
• Manage receiving, inventory control, and the returns department, including bin monitoring for accuracy.
• Assist with expediting customer service orders and monitoring inventory for order completion.
• Input data, provide training, supervise staff, oversee workflow and resolve problems.
• Enforce proper use and maintenance of Instawarehouse equipment.
