Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX. The role starts at 6:00 PM and involves operating forklifts, RF scanners, and other heavy equipment to move materials and components.

Site address is 7301 Fairview Street, Houston, TX 77041. Overtime may be available depending on orders and season. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1–3 years in a similar role, ability to lift 50–75 lbs, and proficiency with pallet jacks and forklifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (HSE preferred).
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role; warehouse or manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50–75 lbs. periodically.
• Proficiency with electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Ability to work in varying environments (including cold).
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and shift priorities quickly.
• Comfortable with repetitive movements and standing/walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
• Weigh, measure, and inspect raw materials according to work orders.
• Load, unload, and move crates, boxes, and materials within the plant, yard, or work site.
• Sort, check, and distribute kits and components to production lines with accuracy.
• Load/unload trailers between the main site and off-site distribution center.
• Verify and sign for inbound freight from suppliers; clean and label materials.
• Use hand tools to open containers and assist operators/inspectors.
• Operate elevators and other equipment to assist product movement.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, OSHA, and safety/security/environment guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
