Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Marble Falls, TX is seeking a team-oriented forklift technician to support the branch with material loading and unloading. The role requires operating a forklift, overhead crane, and applying safe handling of inventory while meeting customer orders accurately and on time.

Qualifications include 18+ years, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain forklift and crane certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, overhead crane and construction tools to load and unload materials.
• Complete orders safely, accurately and on time; assist customers and co-workers.
• Inspect materials, machinery, tools and equipment for safety and quality.
• Assist with inventory management and daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Move inventory within and between workstations and areas as needed.
• Comply with safety requirements and use PPE as required.
