Job summary

Maersk in West Chester, OH is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a team on the night shift (2:30pm-11:30pm) and oversee warehouse functions including receiving, storage, inventory, and shipping. This full-time, on-site role involves coordinating workflows, maintaining records, and ensuring safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training recommended.
• Strong supervisory and people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of inventory adjustments, cycles, physicals, and catch weight audits.
• Assist with inventory control and maintain inventory accuracy and clear storage areas.
• Maintain computerized inventory records and perform cycle counts; investigate variances.
• Plan inbound/outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs and schedule staff accordingly.
• Assign workers to duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Update and communicate standard operating procedures to warehouse staff.
