Job summary

Cardinal Health in Jacksonville seeks a Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations to maintain inventory accuracy, handle returns, and support timely order fulfillment. You will manage holds, movements and exceptions while following SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include optimizing picking and replenishment, monitoring quality metrics, investigating discrepancies with suppliers, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• PIT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory accuracy by managing product holds, product movements, physical returns, purchasing of products and automated tracking of inventory.
• Drives efficient picking and replenishment by profiling products to determine the best slotting, based on weights and measures, palette dimensions, frequency of product movement, expiration date, hazardous classifications and other characteristics.
• Continually monitors quality and productivity metrics including damaged product, adjustments, shortages, and cycle counts, and communicates with stakeholders.
• Investigates outbound discrepancies by checking differences between counts and WMS records and reports variances promptly.
• Resolves inbound discrepancies by coordinating with external suppliers and QA teams and adjusting WMS accordingly.
• Determines proper resolution of discrepancies to ensure timely customer order fulfillment and communicates root cause.
• May place Purchasing Orders for customers and tracks to ensure on-time deliveries from 3PLs.
• Identifies opportunities to improve operations and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.
• Instructs Associates on complex tasks and supports daily operational needs.
