Job summary

Cardinal Health in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our operations team. You will follow SOPs to process orders, perform quality checks, and help with packing, palletizing, and shipment preparation on a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in a distribution center, comfort with RF scanners and automated systems, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of related warehouse/distribution center experience preferred.
• Automated or RF warehouse experience beneficial.
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (pallet jacks, cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).
• Ability to work standing for long periods with occasional bending.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Detail oriented, quality focused and self-motivated.
• Fluent in English with reading/writing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, pallet building, packing, loading and shipment preparation.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as assigned by management.
• Receive large boxes on dock, scan products with RF scanner, and input product information into computer.
• Break down cases and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse.
• Use voice-picking system for large cases and small unit items with equipment or carts.
• Palletize items and wrap for shipment; pack small items into boxes.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, walkie rider).
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control, maintaining a clean work environment and safety compliance.
