Cardinal Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Associate, Warehouse Operations to ensure inventory integrity, accuracy, and timely processing within our distribution facility. You will execute SOPs, manage holds and adjustments, and support cycle counts and vendor communications to uphold service levels.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting inbound/outbound discrepancies, improving slotting and picking efficiency, and guiding less experienced team members to maintain high inventory

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience, preferred
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• PIT experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory accuracy by managing product holds, movements, returns, and purchasing of products and automated tracking of inventory.
• Drives efficient picking and replenishment by profiling products for slotting based on weight, dimensions, movement frequency, expiration date, and other characteristics.
• Continuously monitors quality and productivity metrics including damaged product, adjustments, shortages, and cycle counts; communicates with Supervisor and other internal departments.
• Investigates outbound discrepancies by checking differences between physical counts and WMS records; reports variances to Customer Care and ensures timely shipment of variances.
• Resolves inbound discrepancies by coordinating with external suppliers and QA teams; makes adjustments in WMS and determines implications for order fulfillment.
• Places Purchasing Orders (POs) for customers and tracks deliveries to prevent service disruptions.
• Identifies opportunities to improve operations and mitigate risks in inventory control and broader operations.
• Instructs Associates on complex picking, put-away, and replenishment tasks and may assist in warehouse audits.
