Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking an experienced warehouse worker for a night shift (Monday–Friday, 11:00pm–7:30am). The role includes supervising or performing metals processing and distribution tasks with heavy material handling and equipment operation.

You will move inventory, pick orders, tag material, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to safety and quality standards. Valid license and forklift certification required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Move inventory or equipment and fill customer orders.
• Pull material from racks and unload incoming material.
• Load trucks and help maintain the upkeep of the warehouse.
• Receive, place/return items into stock inventory locations.
• Pull and assemble orders based on shipping orders or other documentation.
• Tag material for proper identification and completes all required documentation.
• Move material using forklift, side loader, or crane.
• Operate yard truck for loading/unloading trailers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Sorts and places material on rack, shelves, or bins by size/type/code.
• Spot checks on inventory and tagging as directed.
• Report irregularities to supervisor.
• Restock material.
• Occasionally drive non-DOT local deliveries.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
