Job summary

Reliance, Inc. seeks a warehouse associate in the Plant family, handling metals processing and distribution tasks with an emphasis on safe forklift operation and accurate inventory control. The role supports receiving, shelving, tagging, and order fulfillment within a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates should have 0–5 years of warehousing experience, a High School diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license preferred. Training for equipment certification will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required/preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Experience with warehousing and material handling is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain certification to operate motorized material handling and rigging equipment.
• Clear written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read instructions and perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and move inventory or materials.
• Receive, store, and file items; unload and load materials as needed.
• Tag materials and complete required documentation.
• Sort and place materials by size, type, or product code.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Support local deliveries with non‑DOT vehicle when required.
