Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to support its warehouse operations in the Omaha area. You will transport items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, and prepare outgoing freight for shipping while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work as part of a team, follow company procedures, and help ensure the efficient flow of products through the distribution process. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

Ability to stand, walk and lift repeatedly during shift.
Must be able to work varying schedules and overtime.
Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Transports items into trailers using forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
Moves outgoing products from staging to loading dock with forklift.
Wraps pallets, secures loads and ensures shipping labels are in place.
Locates trailer slot, sets it in place and secures load.
Removes empty pallets and packing materials to proper areas.
Inspects pallets for damage and maintains clean work area.
Follows safety policies and reports unsafe conditions.
Completes paperwork and secures equipment at shift end.
