Job summary

Readerlink Distribution Services in Salem, VA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the night shift to lead a team and ensure safe, efficient operations. The role oversees planning, staffing, and coordination of daily workflows to meet production goals.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, conducting performance reviews, coordinating with management, and maintaining inventory accuracy while prioritizing safety and quality. Must be able to work nights and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including off shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead people and drive results through others.
• Plan ahead and prepare action plans to achieve results.
• Conduct employee performance reviews and discipline.
• Develop a positive work environment.
• Ensure shipping, receiving, storage, distribution and production are efficient.
• Interview, select and retain employees.
• Train, counsel and develop staff.
• Assign employees to correct work areas based on production needs.
• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost and employee relations.
