Job summary

Charlie's Produce is seeking a hard-working warehouse lead to join our growing operation on the night shift. This role requires supervisory skills and the ability to manage staffing, scheduling, and training while ensuring accurate inventory, order fulfillment, and safe operations in a large refrigerated warehouse.

You will direct daily activities, control overtime, and report on productivity. Prior experience with WMS AS/400 and knowledge of produce or perishables is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5+ years in a leadership role supervising 10+ staff.
• Background in warehouse shipping and/or receiving preferred.
• Experience with WMS AS/400 is preferred.
• Knowledge of fresh produce or perishables industry is a plus.
• Ability to plan, organize, and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities and staffing needs.
• Oversee shipping procedures and coordination with receiving, maintenance, and inventory.
• Approve payroll and manage overtime for the shift.
• Communicate inventory status and slotting issues to management.
• Ensure nightly pick progress and generate productivity reports.
• Maintain safe, clean, and compliant workplace following OSHA rules.
• Lead continuous improvement and cross-functional teamwork.
