Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Warehouse Associate II at our Champlin, MN site. Inbound and outbound duties require accurate picking, packing, and shipment preparation. You will follow SOPs to ensure quality, safety, and efficient operations, rotating through different warehouse areas as needed.

You will work with RF scanners and PIT equipment, lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long shifts. Overtime may be required as needed to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly.
• Previous material handling equipment experience (PIT) preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice to pick experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.
• Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and rotate into various areas of the warehouse.
• Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write in English required.

Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs to process orders: pick, quality check, sort, consolidate, pack and ship.
• Follow directions and adapt priorities while working independently or in a team.
• Pick large items with equipment or small items and place on designated cart.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jack).
• Maintain housekeeping and inventory control; keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Handle routine tasks and resolve straightforward problems; escalate as needed.
