Job summary

Advanced Onion Inc. seeks a VNOC Resiliency Specialist (Night Shift) to monitor on‑premise and cloud infrastructure, acting as the first line of defense overnight. You will follow runbooks, perform rapid alert triage, and coordinate with Incident Managers to contain incidents.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in IT operations center, NOC/SOC, or similar.
• Cloud knowledge in AWS or OCI fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow/Jira and monitoring tools.
• DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Ability to work night shift (12-hour nights).

Responsibilities

• Dashboard surveillance of enterprise network, on‑premise and cloud health.
• Triage outage calls, acknowledge alerts, route to teams.
• Execute runbooks and coordinate with Incident Managers.
• Monitor AWS and OCI for cloud health and escalate when needed.
• Manage incidents with precise timelines in ServiceNow/Jira.
• Maintain shift turnover logs and post-incident data for reviews.
• Observe change windows for anomalies during maintenance.
• Adhere to VNOC runbooks and SOPs; flag outdated docs.
