Job summary

Morton Salt is seeking an entry-level Utility Worker in Grantsville, Utah. The role involves operating mill and warehouse equipment, filling and sealing bags, palletizing products, and assisting with packaging and material handling to meet shipping deadlines.

Candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, a safety mindset, basic computer skills, and be 18+ with willingness to learn. Prior manufacturing and forklift experience are preferred; strong mechanical aptitude is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mill and warehouse tasks: fill poly bags, seal with heat sealer, palletize products.
• Move materials with forklift and operate packaging equipment to ensure timely shipping.
• Perform cleaning, sweeping, sanitizing, bin handling, unloading, and supplying packing materials.
• Assist higher classification coworkers in their tasks.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.
