Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
• Able to pull, push, carry, and lift 50lb.
• Must wear PPE (hard hat, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hi-visibility apparel, gloves).
• Regularly exposed to varying temperatures, humidity, noise and dust.

Responsibilities

• Bag salt, operate forklift, and maintain basic housekeeping.
• Follow safety policies and report safety, quality, productivity, and environment concerns to the supervisor.
• Operate machinery and equipment such as forklifts to support production demand.
• Inspect bags and pallets for damage and ensure correct packaging and fill weights.
• Complete packaging paperwork and maintain production data records.
• Help technicians and supervisors and keep the area clean per GMP policy.
