Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Beaver Dam, WI is seeking a Utility Mechanic- Boiler Operator for a 5PM to 5AM rotating schedule. Starting wage is $32.25/hr as a trainee with a $2/hr shift premium; wage range $32.25–$38.25.

The role leads the utility department, supports maintenance, and participates in improvement teams. Responsibilities include operating ammonia, steam, refrigeration, air, and water systems; conducting safety testing and documentation; and performing pipefitting and material handling

Qualifications

• Three years of hands-on utility experience.
• Detailed understanding of ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems (Preferred).
• Basic electricity knowledge and proven strong mechanical skills.
• Able to work independently after probation; demonstrate all skill requirements by 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot the full utility system (ammonia, steam, refrigeration, air, water).
• Troubleshoot power transmission systems related to utility equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and SAP parts issue tracking.
• Boiler operation, testing, sampling, and safety documentation.
